WARD PIEPGRASS, DDS, MS

Dr. Ward Piepgrass is a periodontal specialist board-certified by the American Board of Periodontology. He is a 1986 graduate of the University of Alberta College of Dentistry. He practiced general  dentistry for eighteen years in Alberta, Canada, before returning to the University of Kentucky Graduate Periodontology Residency Program to obtain his Masters in Science degree and Certificate in Periodontology in 2007.  

He enjoys all aspects of periodontal and implant surgery but has a special interest in removal of third molars under IV sedation as a preventative measure against periodontal disease. He has provided Intravenous Sedation for his patients’ comfort and safety for the past 30 years.

Dr. Piepgrass is a member of the American Board of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Kentucky Board of Dentistry, Kentucky Dental Association and Bluegrass Dental Society.
